The Best

I’ve been a self-taught guitarist for years and have purchased many books, but this is by far the best.
As the author states, it’s not for total beginners—you need a basic foundation.
Each riff teaches you something new, step by step, and it’s fun!
These aren’t just exercises—they’re musical phrases that expand your rhythm vocabulary.
You’ll want to master each riff just to get to the next one—that says it all.
Other books I’ve started, I’ve never finished. This one keeps me going.
Backing tracks are top quality—you can loop them and even improvise for fun.
If you’re self-taught like me, I strongly recommend this—but follow it closely! Don’t just copy by ear. Read the notation to fix your mistakes.
Also check out Applied Theory for Guitar by Giulio Fiorita—another great book!
10 out of 10.
