You need to have at least some basic guitar knowledge, and a bit of music theory wouldn’t hurt, but this book can definitely be useful both for beginners and more advanced players. For me, as an intermediate level player, it was exactly what I was looking for! Thanks to the author! I’m really enjoying it.

Out of all the guitar books I’ve bought over the years, this is by far the best and most complete.
200 pages, clearly and simply explained, with tons of exercises of increasing difficulty and covering different genres.
I had already purchased Applied Theory for Guitar by the same author last year, and once again I’m extremely satisfied—highly recommended!

I’ve been using this book for a few weeks now. It’s very well structured, divided into chapters and genres. My level is intermediate-advanced, but I still found the early punk exercises helpful. As the chapters progress, things get more stimulating and engaging.
The audio tracks are excellent, with solid and realistic backing tracks. I recommend it to anyone with a solid foundation—it’s probably best to study it with a teacher if you’re a total beginner.
